A FEW INDUSTRY ACCOLADES
And it all started with a simple insight - design is the language of feelings.
Fonts reflect taste, colours change moods, and even the odd meme always says more than words can.
The DIL SE, DESIGN TAK campaign was all about giving voice to these feelings, and a platform to the concerns that modern India - straddling traditional power structures and modern independent sensibilities - finds hard to put into words. But when 'anybody can design' (Canva's brand promise), anybody can show what the inside of their heart looks like.
Did that sound too serious?
Chico ki kasam, we made it fun all the way.

Do you remember when millennials joined the workforce and immediately ruffled some boomer feathers?
At a time when every week there is a new headline with a newly coined label questioning Gen Z's professional viability, we decided to make the two generations meet over a deck with all their issues, anxieties and frustrations and design a world that has space for us all.
The Indian family system doesn't teach you how to express emotions, especially the difficult ones. There are no templates for expressing care, or even saying sorry (damn you, cut fruits!).
We didn't promise to bridge that gap, just brought the real talk to the table, let real characters spill their heart out and let Canva make it easy to say the hard things.
And if an 8 year old can do it, you know 'anybody can design'.
If only making moms happy were as easy as making posters on Canva. Sigh.
Did someone say "productivity hacking"?
They were probably talking about creating custom presentation templates on Canva in seconds.
Hope is a thing with an astronaut suit.
Canva can take it to the skies.
Gen Z would do anything to get their way.
Like making cute invites just to get an extra pair of hands on deck.
